George is an author, technologist and angel investor. He’s spent his career designing software and leading high-performing technology teams for global leaders in the financial services, telecommunications, and aerospace industries. He’s been featured in the Wall Street Journal, CIOReview, and InformationWeek on technology-related topics such as mobile applications, cybersecurity, and data analytics for the. He’s been recognized by Craine’s Business Magazine as the CIO of the Year, and his technology team was added to InformationWeek’s Annual Elite 100 ranking of the most innovative US-based users of technology.
He’s an active member of the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA), Mayfield CIO Advisory Council, North Coast Venture’s Investment Screening Committee, Cuyahoga Community College’s IT Center of Excellence Advisory Board.
Technology’s influence on society and the courageous people who have shaped our nation throughout history inspires his fiction writing. George’s recently completed his debut commercial fiction thriller, GOING DARK: A Liberty Unit novel. In January 2022, Revolutionary Press published his short story "GOING DARK: Caretaker of Station #64" in its semi-annual anthology.
He's a board member of Literary Cleveland, a non-profit organization and creative writing center that empowers people to explore other voices and discover their own; as well as an active member of James River Writers, a non-profit organization that connects inspiring writers and all those in central Virginia with love for the written word.
